As a result of your DUI conviction, you will typically be required to complete some form of alcohol assessment and education as a term of your sentencing. In Georgia, it is mandatory that offenders complete Alcohol Safety Action programs. The associated DUI schools are designed to teach to dangers of drinking and drivers, and to, hopefully, discourage repeat offenses.
