CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY 1995-96 Director of Public Safety
Director of Public Safety Department including police and fire safety officers. Creation and implementation of fire safety and general disaster plans. Cost containment utilizing 1.8 million dollar budget and strategic long term planning. Department consists of 53 total persons, with 24 sworn officers and campus population of 5100 people in an urban setting. Responsible for the safety and security for the entire campus. Work closely with other college Police Chiefs as well as local, state, and federal police agencies to prevent and solve crimes. Reports directly to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
